of the 2014 E350 convertible . I'll do some research, but I am not the type to drool over new Benzes. Anyone here know anything useful? Thanks

It has nifty heated head rests and a in-windshield air deflector. Pretty snazzy, eh?

Not a fan of the lighting at night, but I think they look sharp.

You should tell him that if given the opportunity, you would totally dd it.

Thank you. And yes, haha. I just think it needs a 4 speed manual and heated headrest heaters to get a 100 in my book.

Same here. I think it is one of the better designed modern cars, but the LED craze is crazing me.

I'm not a big MB fan. Just don't like the styling. There aren't a ton of luxury level convertibles available to choose from though. You have MB, BMW, and what would be my choice- the Audi. A/S/RS5 is cool looking, just real sleek in my opinion. (and this is from a guy who doesn't like ANY non-US cars)

Pretty good car. Not the sportiest, but that is expected. This is the model to buy, since it is almost guaranteed they will put that stupid "tablet" navi screen whenever the refresh it.

Like many people, the new MB's do nothing for me. but you can tell him 2 certainties.
1. it will be expensive to maintain outside of complimentary maintence
2. it will be a Mercedes, if that's what he wants all other points are moot. In fact he's probably already bought it.

If he's a Mercedes buyer, then he'll just want to hear that he'll think it's worth the money. And you can't go wrong saying that, because the Merc delusion field is almost as strong as with Apple stuff. Doesn't matter how much he has to spend, he'll convince himself it's the price of quality.
Maintenance costs and comparative pricing aside, it's certainly a very nice car. I'm sure he'll be happy with it on that basis.

What my response would be in this scenario: "not much". I've actually used these words when someone has asked me about another car, but I can't remember which one.

Tell him he'll like it a lot.
